


The opening tale is a prologue, written and illustrated by Jeffrey Veregge, setting up the overarching framing device for the story, as Uatu the Watcher briefly introduces the various indigenous superheroes that will get a greater moment in the spotlight in their own stories. And while relatively lightweight, the quartet of stories are largely fun and well-executed, each focusing on a different fan-favorite superhero to showcase them in standalone tales what they do best.
